Calling All New Brinsea Owners!!! January Hatch-a-long...

No problem. I know how I'd feel if that had been me

And this is one of those opportunities we all have to share with eachother.

We have had this generator in our garage for two years - still in its un-opened box....and we've been thinking of selling it anyway. This is a great solution for everyone! And we have a full-sized generator for our house if we ever need one here (we are in the hurricane capital of the world!).

Chicken_Crazy - don't forget to pm me your shipping address, ok?

So to get back to the topic for a second... How are all of your hatches going? Did you all set your eggs on the 15th? or do you all have different January set/hatch dates?
Any candling done yet? I am most curious about how any of the shipped eggs are progressing in the Brinsea Eco?

I set on the evening of the first. I have 6 going into lockdown on Wednesday (

). Candled several times (til I forced myself to leave them alone!). Out of a dozen, four were clear and two were early quitters. I carried my eggs home from Ohio (back to CT) over the holidays, so can't speak to the shipped eggs part of your question. I have really been happy with the eco though, temps and humidity really very steady. Starting to get anxious for the hatch! Good luck to everyone!

I'm just anxious to see how you all do and am living vicariously through you.
I cannot set until early March. Being in Maine, I cannot get the chicks outside until May(at around 8 weeks of age).
Plus I'm getting shipped eggs and want to wait for warmer temps for shipping to give me the best chance at hatch rates.
Anyway... I wish everyone luck and will be watching.
