I've collected 7 clean eggs from my incredibly messy hens. Why do they have to poop IN the nesting boxes?? I need 17 more to fill the bator. 17???? ACK!

If I don't collect them hourly, they are totally covered in poop, no matter if we change the hay daily. I have some seriously messy hens.

I have my neighbor collecting my eggs for me while I'm gone...I'm just going to hatch EE's with this hatch...so hopefully she'll be able to get 24 (or so) for me. I'll set them next Sunday morning......Can't WAIT!!!

This is what I have saved up so far...

10 Lavender Wheaten Project eggs
3 olive eggers
16 Lavender/Split Lavender Ameraucanas (bought, being shipped tomorrow)
6 white ameraucanas

hmmmm I might be able to squeeze them all in! or invest in another incubator!
