    Welcome aboard !!

    Is this your first hatch?

You may want to wait until day 10 to candle. You can always candle sooner but please take a look at the Candling thread in the Incubating and Hatching Eggs index first (One of the first three or four posts at the top).

It will help you figure out what you are looking for and at. It is AWESOME!

The first ten days are the LONGEST.

    Hang in there and enjoy!

Best of luck to you and the eggs on the upcoming hatch! [IMG]

Thanks so much. You're right about them being so long!! Its only been 2 days, and it feels like months. There's so many ways to mess up. I'll just be happy when...if...I have those little fluff-butts in my hands:p

I'm on my first hatch ever as well.

I've assisted with hatches, but never had one to myself....

Ohhhh, maaaaan, I have to keep my incubators in the guest room so I don't see 'em unless I go in there... If they were in sight all the time, I'd stop whatever I was doing and fog up the view from the outside, with my face pressed flat to the incubator. All the time.

This is my first try at incubating too, I put my eggs in yesterday and I'm watching the bator like a hawk, I don't know what to expect but will be grateful if I even have just one hatch out of 16. [IMG]
