CALLING ALL ORPINGTON OWNERS!

Pics
I have been getting eggs from ebay, and a 50% hatch rate is standard for shipped eggs. My last hatch 0 out of 36 hatched. The one before that, the ameraucanas, 12 out of 12 hatched. It's a crap shoot. Maybe look on Craigslist for a local seller first>
Ok thanks, I do look on Craigslist but very few have hatching eggs and no one has bantam blue laced red Wyandotte or seramas

Has anyones orpington been super sweet and nice she runs up to you and pecks you gently to get your attention so she can be picked up. Then this morning i go to give them more feed and i found a broken egg under the roost she was in the coop and when i went to pick it up she tried to attack me. Is she going broody?

All three of my chocolate orpingtons and two of my buffs. My buffs are the sweetest.

my four babies are one month old as of last week. We are finally closer to their "real" home. The brooder is a hot mess (poor things). I will have funds for the rest of their tractor coop on Wednesday (phew, will be SO glad). Of course hubby has to put it all together. But with another batch coming end of week he'd better.
