Calling all Penedesencas Owners/Breeders

I just put them on lockdown, I am keeping fingers crossed as I think the post office played foot ball with the box. SO far everything has been as close to textbook as I can get it temp is good and humidity is great.

Can you see chicks in them?

I can't see through some of them but the ones I can it appears there is something in them. Candling eggs is not my strong point.

Now what else can go wrong. Eggs are due to hatch like tomorrow and our power goes out. I also have a second bator with eggs on day 5. I wrapped them up in blankets and am praying we get elect soon - today would be nice.

The 5 day eggs will be OK if you just let them cool down. Put something hot like hot water bottles with the due eggs.

Ok power was off almost 6 hours. I bundled them up as best I could and the temp did drop but only to 81. It is on the way back up as I type.
