Not very but I do not know how big the combs are supposed to get on these.

Squatting?
checking out the nest box?
Getting "chatty"?

not squatting and not checking the nest box out but all my older emp's and penedesenca seem to be chatty lol

the roosters legs look light to me... it might be just the light he is in... his legs should be as dark as the hens... the only other thing i see is the red in his breast it might molt out to pure black when he gets his adult feathers but it might not ether... just watch for both of these things when u cull any of there offspring...

here is my motely crew. notice the pattern on the larger hen. Kind of a Mille Fleur pattern developing. with the light legs I am wondering if like Luann mentioned she is wheaten x partridge . starting to wonder if the younger one is a hen. Not looking very roosterish compared to Ron's

ya buy that age u should be able to see more comb... so i would say u have 2 hens...

It started quick then stopped. I am ok with that as I plan on getting a bunch of eggs next week and I am sure I will get roosters lol. I am excited to see that pattern on the larger one as I was trying to think of ways to get it. Who would of thought. Did not even have to try.

I am still game for hatching eggs on your emp's if you are letting any go yet. would love to hatch more for spring summer layers
