Also, baby toys like the plastic keys and stackable cups make great toys! I put snacks or pellets in the cups and it is great fun for him! Super cheap from Amazon.

Just have to be careful that they don't chew on these

That’s just the thing. Everybun is different so you just have to try it all! Toffi also likes the meadow hay ball that they have at Walmart. Pretty cheap too. Not a substitute for actual hay, but a fun and entertaining snack.

Exactly. For example, Niven has zero interest in cardboard anything even though other bunnies love that stuff. So there is some trial and error. But if you want I can suggest a few of Niven’s favorites for you to try.

You can mix the timothy in with the alfalfa is he doesn't eat the alfalfa on his own. If he's picky then you'll have to transition him but I would try to see if he'll eat the alfalfa first.

I bought both just in case.
I put just a tiny tiny bit of Timothy Hay and with his alfalfa hay and see if he picks the Timothy out to eat first or not.

If he eats the alfalfa with no problem then I'll get rid of the Timothy.

Or can I save it until he's older or does it rot?

The mini said I can not store the Timothy until the rabbit is older...he said it will lose value just like I was explaining to my mom about chicken feed.

That’s awesome. Many people like Oxbow (myself included) because it is very high fiber and hay based. A lot of the cheap feeds are not.

More on this, Toffi seems to like to chew on bigger things such as large toys or tunnels. This may be cuz he’s a big rabbit himself, but that seems to be what he prefers.

Niven only ever ate meadow or Timothy. She doesn’t like alfalfa I would offer both things right away personally.
