Calling All Rabbit Nutters

Tractor Supply was out of Trev's regular food pellets again.
I waited until the last minute which means I had to buy him a different kind.
It's the same brand just the cheaper type I guess.
The first ingredient is Timothy Hay and it's not alfalfa like his original feed so I hope it doesn't kill him. I know it's not going to kill him but I just hope he doesn't hurt his little belly because there will be no mixing.

As I recall from the beginning of this thread, timothy was what you were supposed to be feeding him.

Oh you are not a professional rabbit nutter...

He is supposed to be eating alfalfa until him 6 months old.

His original pellets the number one ingredient was alfalfa.

His main food ingredient can be switched to Timothy once he is passed 6 months old.

I believe there is only a two or three percent protein difference in these ghetto-er pellets compared to his original ones. I do not think will kill him for one month but the nutters have me worried that switching his food without mixing it might cause a problem. Jesus I should not read stuff on the internet.

They were feeding their rabbits Timothy.
That doesn't mean that's what I was supposed to be feeding him.
The rabbit nutters informed me that I was supposed to be feeding him alfalfa... And I only bought Timothy in the very beginning just because I wasn't sure if I should give him a little bit of Timothy mixed in with his alfalfa since he had already been eating only Timothy.

You better watch it....you're going to go to time out.

I never worried about any of the things you bunny nutters worry about. I fed mine trimmings from the grocery store produce department. A lot of those trimmings were from iceberg lettuce. They got whatever kind of hay that was readily available such as timothy and alfalfa. I hand cut a lot of tall grasses for them too.

They did fine for me and were delicious when I ate them.
