It's either. Ruby is generally used on californian marked rabbits tho. Pure white would be red eyed white.

I have never heard them referred to as red eyed whites. All the genetic sites call it ruby eyed white.

You know why? Because people think red eyes are weird. And just look at the way rabbits make people act... *points to Kiki frolicing through second hand stores and raiding people's trash for rabbit stuff*

They call them "ruby-eyed" so they can be all bunny/tree huggy and tell you they need whole bedrooms to live a fulfilling life. lol Literally every other animal with red eyes, is red-eyed. Bird people aren't weird. No one says a Lutino Indian Ringeck has "ruby eyes". Just like my White Society finches could bew DEW or REW (Dark-eyed White or Red-eyed White). I refuse to call them Ruby.
