Yeah, because they fling it everywhere! Chinchillas are pretty bad about it too. Mostly it's because they bounce around and bounce their poops out.Even the best litter trained bun will still leave little poopy balls out and about but TT in the litter box is the important issue
The Faker thinks it's his new room.
He is going to be heartbroken when the bunny arrives.
How cruel. If your aviary was cool enough you could keep chins and your peegs together. Their diets are closer than a lagomorph and a rodent.Mr Muddy is a meanie!!!!! He won’t let me have a monkey and he just told me I cant have a faker pet bunny either!!!!!![]()
I cant say I've smelled a wet rabbit, bit rabbits should never get wet anyways. A little rain won't hurt but if they get soaked they can get hypothermia and die, or could die of shock. If they somehow survive that then its possible that they'd get fur rot since their coats are so dense and trap water.
They do because they are covered in urine
If you know what you're doing and its necessary then it can work, but otherwise it's not worth the risk and the stress.I have bathed many a rabbit. They'll be fine if they get wet. generally they don't need to, but sometimes it is absolutely necessary. They even make rabbit shampoo. Chinchillas should not get wet. They can lose their hair due to fur rot as their fur is many times more dense than a rabbit's. Some people even say it is so dense they can't get fleas. I've never tested that theory out.
This rabbit has lived in the weather it's whole life. It's still alive.I cant say I've smelled a wet rabbit, bit rabbits should never get wet anyways. I might actually kill it by bringing it indoor s with air conditioning.
I hope now.
Shoot.. should I give it a heating pad for a few days so it stays hot?
I mean my house does not get cold so it definitely won't get cold but it's going to be a lot cooler than it's used to.
