Allergy shots were mine! I was on meds for years, then took allergy shots for 7 years. My allergies are almost non-existent at the moment.

And I have so many allergies, mostly animals, but also hay and some weeds. Pretty much if it has fur, I'm allergic to it.

I just discovered Zyrtec recently and it’s been a lifesaver hahah Claritin did jack .

Zyrtec and Flonase sisters!

Can't use Zyrtec or any of those types. They give me chest pains and extreme nervousness. Sagebrush and sunflowers are going on now until a heavy frost kills them. Right now is Claritin and generic Flonase plus allergy eye drops..

I tried allergy shots. My experience is they can work wonders for young people. I was never able to get to the maintenance stage and finally gave them up.

I was a teenager when I got them, so that makes sense.

I didnt even know I had allergies until a few years ago, right after we got our dog. It explained why I could only ever breathe out of one nostril at a time, etc. i didnt pay much mind to the results as Id been around tons of animals and always outdoors my entire life. However, my dog allergy exploded over the years we had our coonhound. I started breaking out in hives all over. Shes been gone for about six months now and Im still running into the odd bit of fur and thats enough to give me hives still .
