Calling All Rabbit Nutters

Very first rabbit shown.
What exactly is it called?

Thats a Holland Lop. I believe it's the second smallest domestic rabbit, since it was created by using the Netherland Dwarf (the smallest breed of rabbit).
They also used English and French Lops when creating the breed.

As adults they aren't quite as fluffy as that one, but still pretty soft and their fur is quite thick in my opinion.

There's also the American Fuzzy lop, which have lots of fluff. They shed a ton and need lots of grooming though.

I really hope Treb doesn't get any bigger or not much bigger.

I'm pretty sure my next rabbit is going to be a small one.
A smushed face things are growing on me but I really like the floppy ears.

He's probably not going to get any bigger than his parents. They usually stay around 3-4 pounds.

Once you get him fixed I would check rescues around you, that way you can adopt one that's already fixed and oftentimes the rescue will help choose a match for Treb.

Holland Lops, Netherland dwarfs, and Rex are my favorite breeds.

I just checked PetFinder and searched for rabbits around your area..
Lots of babies. Quite a few mini rex, two lops (one young Holland), what looks like an ND, some lionheads, and a few others. I'll l send you a link :)

I usually leave both cage doors open all day but almost every time I go check on them he's sleeping inside the cage on the right by the waterer.
