What kind do you raise?Much the same. Pellet feed, veggie trimmings, grass.... toss in a helping of hay from whatever the cows are eating once a week or so.
Faster they get big.... faster I can eat em.

One boy one girl we are not planning on breeding though. Yes, they live in a cage next to the chickens and sometimes we let them out together. The boys name is Cottontail, girls is Flopsy. Got them from the movie Peter RabbitBoys or girls?
They live in their own cage next to the chickens?
What's their names?
When are you going to separate them? One boy one girl we are not planning on breeding though. Yes, they live in a cage next to the chickens and sometimes we let them out together. The boys name is Cottontail, girls is Flopsy. Got them from the movie Peter Rabbit
The does can get pregnant at a very young age. If they are in one cage they'll need to be separated, at least until you can get them fixed at 6 months old, and they'll need at least another month or so for recovery and for hormones to fully "calm down".One boy one girl we are not planning on breeding though. Yes we are planning to get the boy neutered. They are only two months old still so in about 3 months I think. When are you going to separate them?
Or do you plan on getting one of them fixed?

I haven’t actually called a vet to confirm, but it’s around $60 to neuter and about $80 to spayI'm curious as to how much it cost in your area.
I have plans (crap I need to make the appointment!) To fix my rabbit in January.
I was quite shocked at just how expensive it is to fix a rabbit in my area.
