Yeah, thats a definite no. . We thought we had the cat restrained properly one time, we were in between carriers, and he got out and ended up underneath the brake pedal. No joke. That was one scary ride . We bought a new carrier after that.

After Niven's spay, we took her back a few days later for an incision check and to pick up some more pain medicine because I had accidentally wasted a dose

At the time, they were not letting people in the building, so they came out to the car and asked me to take Niven out of her crate and hold her while a nurse examined her. I was terrified the whole time that she was going to escape and run into the street or something. But loose cat while driving sounds even scarier!!!
