Ah, that is tricky. FWIW once fully trained (and spayed) Niven didn't seem to have trouble if we moved the litter box elsewhere. She still found it and used it.I've been waiting for the chop chop to redo Treb's area/remove the cages for good.
I am kind of ready to redo the room but I'm worried it might screw up his litter box usage. He is a perfect fake kitty and uses it religiously. I'd hate to move things around and mess up his routine so I might just wait a few more months.I can't decide.

Ah. She is fine with us rearranging most things, especially stuff in the rooms she has access to. For example we can rearrange her corner of the living room no problem. And she no longer has a free standing litterbox in the kitchen. The one thing she is not okay with, is us making significant alterations to things inside of her crate. Adding toys and cushions is ok, but that is the limit. BUT as a female and a grump, I believe Niv has always been more territorial than Kiki’s boy. Treb probably won’t be such a brat about change. And even grumpy Niv usually pees in the correct place.

My boy recovered in like 2 days and was eating, drinking, pooping and acting normal after about 24 hours! When I get my bunny spayed I’m worried because I’ve heard they take longer to recover!
