Calling All Rabbit Nutters

Well that price isn’t terrible on hay but is higher. I pay $10-$12 for mixed hay square bale, not sure on weight. But I didn’t see that brand when I was at Tractor Supply, so that’s good to know! One sqaure bale has lasted me over two months for all of the rabbits. And I bought alfalfa for the babies. Wanted to start adding in some fresh greens, especially for the spoiled one inside the house

So far this $20.00 or 50 lb thing of compressed hay has lasted me 6 months.


The little 1 lb bags of rabbit labeled hay that cost $20 a piece lasted me about a week.
Maybe 2 weeks but still... You get the point.
The bags of hay that are labeled for rabbits are ridiculous. Look for the compressed bales at TSC in the horse section.

I toss a bale of cow hay in the feed shed and let them chew at it.
5 bucks a bale…. Works good.
