On the subject of Rabbit Nutters, mine are outside bunnies. I had them stacked on two levels, which led to the inevitable, and entirely predicable, problem that comes of having one cage above another. Bunny gold keeps falling on their heads. Roofing the lower cage and strying to spray off with the hose periodically has not proven as effective as hoped.

Also, they are outside the (dubious) protection of the electric fence.

I'm thinking about builidng a rolling "rabbit tractor", a few inches off the ground, so they can do their thing and drop bunny gold where its usefull to me, while enjoyiong the variety in the pasture, protected by the electric fence. But it has to be sturdy enough to suffer the goats rubbing up against it, accessible enough that I can feed and water daily, and sheltered enough to take both blistering sun and the occasional driving rain.

Anyone do this before??? DOs?? DON'Ts??? [for reference, I currently have 4 large breed rabbits, and sometimes breed them - so I likely need to build 2 tractors, with a total of at least six cages]
