I have been digging in my heels about buying The American Standard of Perfection as it's $59.00 and I only have 2 breeds of chickens and 1 of geese. When I checked on Amazon, it said it was out of print anyway, and 2001 was the last edition. My guess, (as an ex-Librarian) is that it's being revised. The paperback is available for $18.00 in black and white. I'm going to see if I can get a copy inter-library loan, (heh heh) to see how useful it actually will be to me before I purchase one.
