Calling all silkie specialists! Boy or girl?

This is my first Silkie. It is 10 weeks. I hope its a pullet as I can't keep roosters. It likes to peck the other chicks. I'd love to be able to keep it.

It's probably a pullet. Usually the non bearded Silkie roo's would have it's waddles by now. Good luck!

My silkie turned out to be a roo - started crowing at 13 weeks. He had a prominent red walnut comb already and waddles just starting to fill in.

I think by 7 or 8 weeks he'd started showing the other pullets who's boss by pecking at them and stuff.

Today at 14 weeks he tried mounting one of my standard pullets but he was too much smaller than her.

Looks like we are about half and half on the gender guessing. If it is a roo do they crow loud? LOL! It sure is quiet now. It did come from a straight run batch at the feed store.

But silkies are hard. It is very pretty.
