Calling all teenagers

Ran some errands. Walked my dogs. Denvers dealing with hotspots she has 2 developing right now. Time for another vet visit. Ran into one of my moms friends, and she may be giving me some Silkie or Polish hatching eggs, she also has a few other breeds! Now perfect time to get a chicken to go broody.

Oooo, that sounds fun! Silkies sound like fun birds to have! I've decided to go with an all Orpington flock, or I might decide to get a few silkies.

I absolutely love my Orpington best bird in the flock! Ive always wanted a Silkie! Now to convince my dad to let me keep a chicken that he thinks looks funny.

They look so soft and "silkie". Lol I think Orpingtons are awesome birds to have. And I think it looks neat to have a flock of all the same birds just different colors.

Yea and they are cute! I would love to have multiple flocks with one breed in each flock! Maybe eventually!

I have 3 flocks. The Seramas are in one coop, the Ameraucanas, Polish, and a few other breeds are in one coop, then the Marans and some other random egglaying breeds are in the last coop

Well, actually, they can feel as much pain as any other animal, but..

Are you sure? I thought they had less nerves than other animals

Yeah, I was interested in finding out and scientists have had recent studies confirming that they feel pain.
