Looks like by Tuesday we will be done with this cold stuff... I hope so my tomato plants in the window are 3' tall and spindly. I transplanted my banana peppers to larger pots today as well as my Cherokee Purple tomatoes as they were getting a bit big for the tiny seed starter things.

I picked up 4 packages of bees today in Independence. The cold front was roaring in. I was hoping I would make it to our house before it hit here. We got out by the hives, in bee suits, just ready to open the boxes and dump the bees in and the wind just blasts in. I have never installed bees so fast in my life. I could have tried to keep the boxes in the basement until it gets warm again but, I think a good number of them would have died by then.
