Looks like a house finch to me.Wild birds eating chicken feed that I sprinkled on the snow---most flew away when I got
this close, there were dozens.

The ducks can't hardly beat the blackbirds to food and water! Look at all of them lined up on the fencing. J had to take some food out and stand there so the ducks could eat. View attachment 2532520View attachment 2532521
I've done that before..you might hafta make “scarecrow husband” to put out there, lol
I've done that before..
Problem is they just get used to it. I think the husband should just camp out with the ducks for the remainder of this bad weather.
He would do that before I would. Don't give him any ideas!marriage is about compromise... just bring all the ducks inside till the snow melts
Mason goes out every little bit and tries to scatter them. Some of them that are in the run don't even pay him no nevermind. They have figured out he can't go in there.I do not want massive flocks of blackbirds, and a few scouts were starting to show up.
I made a quick clothes hanger scarecrow and hung it out there, it moves in the breeze. I
will move it every hour or so....
