@addctd2plnts I finally got some med in Bambi... I cut up some apples into bite size chunks and injected a bit in each one. She would not touch the bowl! I finally just poured everything on the ground and she just finished the last apple and is having some corn. So far she won't touch deer feed...

A black kitten showed up this morning, ravenously hungry. Came right in the house as if he has lived here all his life. He was unfazed by the dogs, who mobbed him. He ate more food than an adult cat gets in a week. (In several intervals all morning).
Louis, the terrier, thinks it’s his own personal kitty. Maybe so. Perhaps he belongs to a neighbor, but he’s not been very well cared for, skinny, not neutered. I think we’ve been assigned another cat.

I'm so glad! You'll know if it's working if the ticks die. Don't worry about overdosing her. Ivermectin has a really wide safety margin. Too much is better than not enough. I hope she is healthy for Fall.

She seems to be OK with the bowl today and has a 50/50 mix of corn and deer feed under the apples. It's so cool she came toward me when I called her this evening. One of these days she might eat an apple from my hand dunno... right now I can see her ribs so she needs to gain some weight.

Well I made the decision to give Miss Behaving and BP3 (Butt Picker #3) a new zip code... well next door anyhow. Maybe being around a few roosters and guineas will keep them busy lol. I'm just tired of trying with those two and they need a new venue for sure. I caught BP3 plucking Blondie and Miss Behaving within 5 minutes of putting her back was trying to pluck... I guess I don't deserve the Chicken Whisperer hat my daughter sent me.
