I have all kinds. RIR, Domineckers, Cochins, Amereucanas(sp--I never can spell it right..lol), black sex link, red production, white plymoth rock, a black jersey giant......

Khahi Campbell ducks, Royal Palm turkey, Bourbon Red turkey.......


and I have 10 little chicks that are supposed to ALL be Amereucana's but I really question if they are.

Herman - have you searched breed threads to check out if there is anybody near you that has them posting?
There's also a buy-sell-trade forum here.
Also Craigs list and ebay and maybe bookoo.
If all else fails - ask and/or put a notice up at your local feed store.
And yep, you could get lucky and find someone here too.

Ok, I have a question for those that do/like the small chickens. Why over or in addition to the LF?
Practical minded - I'm thinking bigger eggs and birds with some meat on them to eat with the LF.
Just curious.

Depends on what you are doing with the chickens/eggs. Eating eggs & chickens or selling hatching eggs and chicks.

I have bantams, because they are cute and with the intent of selling hatching egg/chicks.
I have LF because of eating size or eating eggs and depending on the breed hatching egg/chicks.

Hello Mo is anyone here breed Silkies and or Showgirls... Am looking for so bearded silkies just want for my pleasure and I want to try to have them brood some chicks next year.....

Just want a few not alot.

So it's pretty much like raising parrots, cockatoos and other exotic birds as a hobby -
