calling any one from missouri

I don't know about you guys, but I saw what a naked-neck rooster/guineahen cross looked like and I was sold! Of course, I'm strange enough to like the idea of having some tick-eating vultures around! lol

What some call twisted...............

others refer to as flexible!

Anything that eats ticks is B-E-A-UTIFUL!

They mention feathersite has more pictures but think there are some in this thread.

Frankenbird or not - if they eat ticks ...... can't be all bad!
How many girls do you have?  What kind?

I have 2. Not sure of kind. 1 is grey with white belly. Other is grey. My sister had them hatch. She had 9 babies plus 4 adults. She just wanted to get rid of some. I said I'd take them and we caught 2 then gave up! Had them about 2 years. Still have ticks! Lol!! They don't get out everyday though. Trying to make that happen this spring.

Mom has been thinking of adding a buffy rooster and hen to her flock as breeding stock and to hatch the babies, I believe they're her favorite breed (I like easter-eggers!). I told her about silkies since they're so broody.

Well I go into lockdown tomorrow morning. I candled just awhile ago and all 3 frizzle polish are still alive. Temp has been running steady 100, humidity at 38%. I will add water in the morning and get my sponges ready. Fingers and toes crossed.
