calling any one from missouri

Have DH check them eggs during the day to watch for bator bounce.:fl
Your silkieds are in there.

TG your aunt survived!  Unimaginable distruction there.  Such a tragedy.

Texted him about it and he's not home and doesn't care if they die. He's having a bad 'head' day. That's what happens when you're not happy with your life!!

And yes ocap so glad your aunt is ok!!!! Pray for all those families that have lost loved ones!

Hope you put steel toed boots on and gave him a bad kick in the pants day!

How was the bator when you got home?

Day 21 here, nothing from the hatchery. I can shine a light in and see no internal pips. These Bunts are a pain in the butt!. I just dont get it!!! But I am hanging tight!

Miss Nicole, how are the eggs?

Sorry all. Tuesdays are my late days getting home. Then when I got home found the big nasty pile of vomit and poo the dog left for me to clean up! Like I needed that!

Anyway looks like the bator stayed at 100 all day and the humidity was in low to mid 40s. Took the ones out that are scheduled to hatch friday and candled them. Of the 22, 15 went to lockdown.

Didn't want to risk candling the others. So we'll see what damage has been done next week.

I need to restate that... Of the 22 shipped eggs, 10 went to lockdown. Guess that's not too bad.

I have more Tolbunt eggs due to arrive tomorrow. I think I am going to hit up the Missouri Facebook Groups and see if I can find anyone with a good cabinet incubator who will hatch these eggs for me. Sound like a good idea?

JNJ good luck on the hatch, maybe they all waiting for a fashionably late entrance.

I felt like doing a little happy dance today. Both my rouen nest and guinea nest had fresh eggs added today. I left seed eggs last night and figured the guineas would still lay but not sure about the rouen. Seems she has a bad memory too. And to add to that a 4th guinea hen is depositting in the nest.

.

One of my chickens egg color changed drastically yesterday. They were creamy tan, yesterday they started coming out white. I actually though it was my white layer's egg. But today I found 2 white eggs. The two hens have certain spots they lay. 1 in the nest with a BA in the coop and the other ALWAYS lays in the garden shed on the shelf. Anyway they will still eat the same no matter the color. Since I am not hatching either of these hen's eggs anymore. For now anyway.

On a differant subject completely my eldest son was informed today since his ACT score was so high, 31/36 he is spose to have all his college tuition paid for college. And has a chance to get this and all his boarding paid if he takes the test again and gets 33 or higher. He's so excited about college and getting a job with NO physical labor. LOL. Some peoples kids.
