Seems like most of the MO people here are in the KC/St. Jo, Columbia and Springfield areas.

Springfield area? I'm down by Ozark and don't know of anyone else close to me. Granted I have not done a big search or question about it.

Are you in the city limits of Columbia? I'm curious because I visit a lot for shopping and I can't imagine the city
letting a few chickens take up residence. Don't get me wrong I love Columbia worked at one of the hospitals for
many years. The way it has grown it seems the simple life has been rather diminished.

I don't live in Columbia, but they allow three hens (no roosters). There's a youTube video out there that has a guy with his three chickens and their coop.

has anybody here ever been to the Tri point monument in southwest city. If you stand there you are in Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. its neat just to say you were there.

they have geode mines in northwest missouri dont they? Have any of you ever went digging for them>? My wife wants to so we probably will, Anybody have any recommendations?

Fortunately, we are not in the city! We are north of the city - I work at MU and it only takes me 15 from door to door. I think you are allowed to have 3 chickens in the city-no roosters. The city has changed a lot and we are more and more happy not to be "in town." : )
