Chickens can be funny, Veronica is laying in the PDZ under the roost now and this morning Molly laid an egg there as well. Time to close the door in the morning I think. Silly girls...

So I was told it did snow here for a while last night. .I never seen it
That wind this evening was brutally cold!!

Yesterday morning we had a dusting of snow left on roofs which melted during the day ....but THIS MORNING IT"S 11ºF...... Some of my chickens are in severe molt, poor things....

The ducks went ice skating this morning. It was hilarious.

It ain't that cold over here at 26°F this morning and a couple of the hens are moulting a bit. Sweet Pea looks funny without a tail at all and one other is losing some breast feathers, nothing major yet for their second winter and first moult.
