calling any one from missouri

So I think I have officially gone crazy. I talked myself into keeping 2 incubators heated up and ready. I have Polish frizzle due to hatch 5-9 and Polish Tolbunts due to hatch 5-16. So I moved all the frizzles into a separate bator....lol So now I have 2 temps and 2 humidity levels to keep an eye on! What was I thinking????? Also found out I have more Tolbunts on the way, due to arrive Tuesday!

Hope you get GREAT hatches!

This time of year it's as bad as watching HSN...

Dozen today.
30 hatching eggs coming in 2-3 weeks and then another dozen in 4-6.
Then I'm done for this year, I swear. Unless.........

I see a trip to for lumber, nails and chicken wire in my near future.

Idle hands are the devils playground...... By golly we're fixing that!

I am really trying to stay on a mission to just get the breeds I am wanting.... but I think I will be having silkies coming out of my ears soon....

But in my defense... silkies are on my want list....

Like potato chips........can't eat just one!

Just so many neat, neat breeds! A lot of good line, rare birds can all of a sudden be found very reasonable. And we've been so very very good restraining ourselves......
We deserve a treat!!!!!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

There you go... like your reasoning!

So I am guessing there is no market here in the Ozarks for golden duckwing phoenix birds? These came from a guy in Indiana and from what I have seen the tails will get decent length given room to do so. I can't say quite show quality yet but I will be working on that when the next broody girl decides to sit on some eggs.

I bet those pheonix are beauts! I don't have room for birds with long tail feathers or I would be a good 'market' for you! Lol!

Have eggs hatching today too! Jnjmamning, i thought seriously about getting a second incubator but didn't! Good luck monitoring them!
I think once I get the breeds I want and start gettin lots of eggs to sell I will build one. Still hoping to get broodies from my silkies though! They have started layinf now. So I left the guniea eggs in the nest hoping they'll get the hint! ;).

.

Well at least you can find your guinea eggs! I know my 2 are laying as they disappear every day for a couple hours, and I found 1 nest with 4 eggs in it. But then they quit laying there. I live literally in the middle of the woods. The places they could hide a nest is endless!!!
