calling any one from missouri

I understand that! I'm putting that silkie I got from you (Rosie) with a pair of whites that I got Friday. I'm not sure the colors that will come, but it should be interesting. I hate to take Rosie from the others, she's become the mother hen of the flock, but I can't leave the boy silkie in with the rest. They are squabbling a little now during the day, but he doesn't back down. They are all going to freezer camp at the end of the month, so my loyalty is to him. They are standard size though and will just keep getting bigger than him, even though he's a few months older.

BTW, Rosie still hasn't laid an egg...

Rosie is such a pretty name for her!! My one didn't lay until about 12 months so hang in there.

What kind of roos are you sending to freezer camp? Didn't you say you have LF Lav Ams? Or am I delusional...?

I have a few different kinds.

3 Lav Ams
1 EE
1 Silver Laced Wyandotte
1 Gold Laced Wyandotte

I'm also processing 10 Cornish X. All of them will be done the last weekend of the month unless someone is needing a roo for breeding. The SLW is hatchery stock (Cackle) but the rest are from breeders.

I used to every month lol. I do go to Ft. Wood now and then. Are you interested in a specific bird.

BTW, the EE is from a Lav Am roo and Light Brahma hen so it's feet are feathered.

I have 3. I got them from BYC member Roxannemc when they were a few days old. One is dark, the others are lighter, more lavender. I'll get some pics tomorrow.

I have been away for awhile.. How are all my Missouri peeps... anyone raising a Swedish flower hens? I am in the market for a couple pullets and selling or trading a couple cockerels from Greenfire farms lines.
