calling any one from missouri

Had an email from Chickens for Backyards and they said both are pullets, an extra EE and barred rock. I can handle 6 but no more-- guess my chicken math options are no more! ;)
At least they are pullets! Also, I'm glad they took the time to get back to you (and knew what they had tossed in as extras!). Are you getting any work done on your coop in this heat?

I hope they are right about pullets. I would have called them if I didn't get an answer. I figured one was a barred rock but wasn't sure about the other. I have 3 very different EE's. No work outside since Sunday. Work all day so by the time I get home sweltering; I would have loved to be working outside the last 2 mornings but leave @ 6:10 for work. I'm instead working on normal weekend chores inside chores so this weekend I don't have much to do on those this weekend.

I should send you a pictures of my EE's. I have white ones, grey ones, brown ones & black ones. Most of them have beards & muffs, but not all of them.

Love it! here is a photo I took tonight of the EE's I couldn't get a decent one of the rocks--mostly their butts ;) and the single one is the Aussie-- at least I think might have them right IMG_0500.JPG IMG_0503.JPG .

Hello from Kansas City! I wanted to give the good folks here on BYC a crack at these 6 week old cockerels before they end up on Craigslist, but I have 3 Cochins from Ideal Poultry that will need rehoming soon. If it weren't for the ordinances I would love to keep these sweet boys, pretty as they are. Thank you!

Thanks, Yes, it's one of mine, about 16 years ago for that one. I need to get my house re-do finished so I can go back to quilting again. Not enough time for everything I want to do.

I have been trying my hand at quilting, mainly t-shirt quilts. I have made 2 small ( baby blanket sized) pieces quilts. I am still trying to figure out the best way to do the actual quilting of the top & bottom together. I don't have a long arm machine so I either do it by hand or try to do it on my regular machine. I have some quilts that have passed down through the generations and they have such awesome designs quilted on top. I would love to be able to do that too!

I have some t-shirt graduation quilts coming up beginning next spring 6 graduating in the next 3 years. I have a long arm and that was my full time job for 5 years. I have one tiny quilt that I started hand quilting about 10 years ago--still not done. Before I had my long-arm I simply stitched in the ditch on the seams, nothing fancy, though some people are good at quilting on a home machine.
