You're in luck! Joplin poultry swap this Sat. Turkey Creed Feed. You WILL find lots and lots of roosters there. I got a nice little Cochin cockerel there last year.

Is it windy where you are? Must be 25 mph winds here. The black walnuts are falling from the trees like rain. You can't walk on the lawn without stumbling on walnuts, so we loaded some up to take to sell to Hammons (via a local hulling station). Has anyone else ever done this? Hammons Black Walnuts in Stockton processes millions of pounds a year, all gathered by hand by individuals like us....they are paying $15 per 100 lbs hulled this year.
