calling any one from missouri

First Tip...ducks need duck friends.
Second tip...ducks make big water mess. It doesn't always work out real great for the chicks to be in the same brooder with ducks.
Since you only have one of each you may be able to get by with it if you keep it really clean I use puppy pads underneath my shavings to help absorb water.
There was only one duck left.... that is why she's living with a chick, so far she hasn't made any water messes and I use news paper underneath the shavings.

Hmmmm
Looks like my Craigslist ad was removed. No wonder No-one has called.
Wonder how to get around that? I saw lots of other listings for birds.
? What, is there some rule about listings that was violated??? People list poultry all the time, don't they?
Joplin still isn't doing their monthly poultry swap, I messaged them on facebook and asked. They said, too many people from too many places getting together = too much risk. Afton OK has a swap every weekend. Even if we weren't in a pandemic, that's too far for me to drive. But Neosho wouldn't be too far, it's just that it won't be until July 11.

Was busy cleaning my much neglected house yesterday about all day. Having 3 girls and two dogs home all day for months on end makes for a lot of dirty clothes, dishes and dirt! Took a break to water flowers and the few vegetables I haven't killed yesterday evening and took some pictures. Was surprised to have a newly planted hosta blooming already and a Columbine still blooming.

Chicken Watching, my favorite entertainment
Now that I've eliminated the extra cockerels, I made an opening between the 2 groups of youngsters. I call it the 'window of opportunity.' Moonshine had one brave girl go thru right away, but the the older kids attacked her! She figured out how to get back home, and since then, went thru many times, every time being chased back into her own yard. So far, she's the only brave one. One of the older chicks went thru into the youngers' yard, and Moonshine attacked her. They have lived side by side for a month, and yet integration isn't going to be seamless.
window of opportunity.jpg Finally this morning, Moonshine went thru, and her brave daughter went w her. This time, the elder kids did not attack. Moonshine was there saying, come see this, and see that, you have a right to be here. She did not attack the other group in their own territory. None of her other kids came thru, in spite of her calling them. The license plate is the door, I can close, just in case.

Technically you are not supposed to list any pets for sale on there. Free to good home with a small rehoming fee is allowed.
In the past you could put it under the Lawn & Garden section and get by with it they have removed the Lawn & Garden catagory from what I can tell. I relisted it and just did not add a price I. Just said text call for availability.
Yes people list chickens and ducks for sale on there all of the time! I guess it's just a matter of whether or not it gets flagged.

Well, what about describing them as livestock, not pets?
I just did a search on Joplin craigslist for ducks, and there are many
