There's a bit here and there. Sumac is red. Maples in town are red. Our elms are dropping yellow leaves. It feels like fall.

We got a 71 gram egg from the Cinnamon Queens today, I bet it's a double. I was thinking of naming them The Piranhas Gang but after reading about piranhas they are more like sharks during a feeding frenzy when you toss the tail end of a romaine lettuce in the run.

There's a poultry swap in Neosho....2nd Saturdays at Southside Feed, that's this Saturday!

Other than that, I may be able to give you a few Spitzhauben eggs in the spring.....I'm north of Joplin.

Find Southside Feed on Facebook and send a message saying you are coming to the swap looking for hatching eggs.....then someone may bring you some!
