You folks are going to have to forgive us TWD fans for a minute......IT WAS A BLAST. I got to meet Daryl, Negan, Tara, Simon, Glen, Shane, Carl, Abraham, Rosita...and my absolute favorite ...Jadis. You wouldn't believe how beautiful she is in real life and what a great lady. Nothing like the character. A good 10,000 people there in Portland. Incredible. Everyone was having a great time. It was like we were all best friends, hard to explain.

oh send me that thread! I have stories, like when I was standing in line to see Tara, her mother called, she said to mom "I'm doing pictures, I can't talk hold on". So I offered to talk to mom while she was busy. We talked about the new baby. We are BFF now.

MORNING UPDATE: After following advise, locking up providing lots of head dunking water. I went out and no foamy eye. Going to follow advise for time being. Provide more fresh water down at the pond and obtain ACV for preventive and try and see if clears up naturally.

MORE FOLLOW UP: Apparently this ACV is important. I figured emportant enough to go to my local feed store to get the right stuff. Unpasturized and raw. Surely they, being the experts would have it and know all about it.

Indeed everyone knew about it and told me they had chicks dying and were using it themselves. They all use it at home. "Give me some"....I said.

Except they don't sell it and told me to go to the grocery store thats where they get theirs. I explained that I have read articles and talked to Duck ladies Duck Ladies! Who would be a higher authority?

It was recommended to me to by the UNPASTURIZED and RAW as the stuff you get in the grocery stores is not effective. (see above link by Miss Lydia for tech information) I received blank looks ......and the reason I posted here in the first place prior to showing up at the Vet office. The people that are supposed to know....often don't know. AMAZON 16 oz for under $5. I didn't get the big jugs as you use so little of it I didn't want it to spoil being unpasteurized. Suggested use it a week out of the month.

I hope this helps someone in the future going through this.....if you have a question....always....always assume the experts in the stores aren't all that expert. The people here are. And everyone on this forum wants healthy happy ducks and chickens everywhere.

Very nice! I wish my ducks had a retreat like that. Do you have rural king? They carry acv with "mother" at a decent price in their grocery section.
