Yes, that is a cockerel. I was only looking for one though, Camille. I didn't notice Duke.. I was a little distracted by ALL the pics.

Aside from the saddle feathers, which his are TRYING to play coy still... other clues are how the saddle stays flat until it meets the tail. *Most* ladies get what I call a hen bump... where the feathers start blending with the tail. But also those darker, almost greasy looking patches of red can be a good indicator. So many things are subjective. So innocent looking and cute!

We eat our extra cockerels. Hopefully you will be able to find him a new home if he can't stay. But no shame in letting him feed someones' family if not.

Camille has a new home with his own flock of ladies Happier ending. He really was a friendly guy.
