Campine Chicken thread?

Pics
I would like to add a few more campines to my group. Can someone direct me to a good source to purchase from? I'm thinking mainly golden. Tks.

Anyone in the Arizona area interested in a golden campine roo? He started crowing with VOLUME this morning. He is only 6 weeks old, so I have another month before I can report him to the company I got him from and get my money back. After that i will have to rehome him.

His legs are a beautiful slate, he just won't stay still long enough for me to get a clear pic. He should be show quality.

@Wisher1000 raises silvers with the occasional gold chick. I think she ships. I got eggs from her a couple of months ago, and the chicks (13 silvers and 1 gold from 20 eggs) are beautiful and very hearty. It will be a difficult decision to make on which to keep. Of the other 6 eggs, only 1 was clear, 4 showed signs of shipping trauma at 10 days, and 1 just didn't pip (it appeared to have quit at about 18 or 19 days. It was an outstanding hatch for shipped eggs and a styro incubator.

She specializes in show quality silvers, but she says that due to the genetics she occasionally gets golds.

She has beautiful birds! Don't know why I didn't think of her Tks.

Instead of buying from someone else I decided to hatch a few more of my own. I have 8 (I think) in there with some other breeds and just candles today (day 14). Here are a couple pics...love to candle white eggs!

Normally Campines don't go broody but this hen did and came out with 5 healthy Campine chicks.
Running around freely on a biofarm in the Campine region of Belgium.
Good to be home;)

I have five broody Campine hens right now. They have 10 eggs each, under them. I guess they didn't read the books that say they are a non-broody breed. I have had three others that were broody but were not good mothers, so I took their chicks.
