These ideas are all totally fabulous!
A lot of these ideas are things we have done in the past, but some are new. I truly appreciate all of the ideas! It's getting my brain in gear anyways!
I completely forgot about making banana boats! We used to do that when I was growing up all of the time and it was a tradition that was lost I as had kids of my own. Thank you for that idea! That is a definite to do this time!
No slow cookers where we are going. There isn't any electricity.
We also cannot hunt for our food as we will be camping in a National Park and that is against the law, other than fishing. I'm not sure what types of fish are available, so we don't usually do any fishing. If I still lived in Colorado I'd most definitely be fishing for and eating trout for dinner!
Where we are headed, there's not any trout.
I think I'll call the visitor's center up where we are going tomorrow and see what they do have available in that area though.
