Can a black sex link chick be brown?

We got some chicks from the feed store yesterday and there were a couple dark brownish red chicks in with the black sex links. They had just gotten the chicks in and there were no other chicks that looked like them so I don't think they got put in the wrong bin. We bought one so we could see what it looks like as it grows. Can black sex link chicks be brown?

Ironic, I got this one out of the black sex link bin at TSC last week and am trying to figure out what it is also...ours look identical.

They can be that color, they look black sex link to me. there feathers will come in black
