Will my chicks beat up on the turkey poult just because they are older? Will the turkey poult start to beatvup on the chicks because it gets bigger? Is It safe disease wise for either bird??

I would recommend brooding the poult yourself for a few days - this will allow it to strengthen and get the hang of walking, eating etc before having to deal with the larger and more active birds. After that everything should be fine.

Ya that's what I was thinking. I am probably going to put the poult in a separate brooder until it is strong and eating like you said and then after a couple days to a week I will put them together and watch carefully JIC.

I have two, two week old BBB's in with my 6 three week old Wyandottes right now. Have not seen a single problem. I have even brooded smaller BBBs with Cornis Xs and never had an issue. Just let the little ones get their legs under them first.
