Can anybody help ID these chicks

These are supposed to be Black Rock chicks female but not so sure can anybody help?

i think they are black rocks and the dots on head says pullet as black rocks are sexlink

or they could be silver sussex

so 2 pullets and a roo unless that other has a dot aswell

Those birds are all barred. In the US I would say probably barred rock. I don't know what common barred breeds you have there.

If "black rock" is the same as a black sex link, then they're all roosters. In black sex links the females are solid colored, with solid heads at hatch. The males have a white headspot and are barred.

now i know the OP is in uk those are Black Rocks

and the Black Rock is a renowned scotttish breed of hybrid and pullets have the black dot

i have kept these chicken from chick

they wont be barred as they get older trust me


btw if its not a black rock its not a Cockeral

the Silver Sessex Hybrid, Black Rock Hybrid, Bluebell Hybrid, Speckledy Hybrid (might be a speckledy) and many other hybrids have the roos culled at hatch no one has roos, they are only available from specialist hatcheries
