Hi there,
im new on hear and iv had a flock of chickens
in a coupe in my back garden for about 5 months now.
I started off with 2 8 week old babies, (a buff bantam maybee cockerel and what i thought
was a partridge plymouth rock.
Now im not so sure if shes even a partridge plymouth rock or even a she !
If i describe her could some1 plz shed some light on what she may be????
Shes almost all one shade of chocolate brown with a few darker shades, she has just started getting
a bottle green and blue (quite prominant) tail.
She is quite considerably taller with really long feet compared to another female chicken from her clutch
and shes even out grown the supposed rooster from her clutch.
I also have from the same clutch a "mocha" coloured chicken with dark brown spots and a few black ones,
she has a very pale comb and was the last to get her feathers x
Can anybody help, i think she has layed an egg before although it was around the time i added to my
chicken collection with 3 other RIR's that were already laying, it was only a really small white egg with
clear fluid inside, however like i said i can't be sure who it came from, it could have been the RIR
and the fact that they were unsettled in their new home, iv only ever had 2 of these eggs x
If anyone can give me any info at all it would be greatly appreciated.
