I’m sorry to hear your little sweetheart is sick. I dealt with a respiratory infection recently and had to take my girl to urgent care to get her antibiotics, because the ones I ordered online were going to take too long to arrive. Keeping her isolated, warm, and hydrated is probably the best you can do at this point, if you are waiting for meds to arrive. Do you have a local vet that takes chickens?

My friend gave me this for now he got it from the vet when his chickens got CRD I’m hoping it works but anything else i should do? The other chicks you think will be fine? They seem fine

Tetracycline is exactly what my vet prescribed my chicken - I had the pill form, but soluble is great! If it were me, I would use a syringe to ensure that it gets the proper dose, rather than hoping it drinks the mixed water on its own.

she’s still sort of out of it, i finally got the coconut oil pieces in her last night her crop still feels full and hard but not as bad as initially, she’s drinking eating and running around when i go to grab her just still seems out of it when i leave her alone.

so i got my buddy here to take a look at her since he’s a vet he said definitely sour crop so the antibiotics seemed to work i put her back out with the flock she’s doing amazing running around exploring her first time being outside, i am so relieved, thanks for all the advice everyone i really do appreciate it!
