Chickens are social animals and are much better off living in groups, even if you just have two. She's beautiful!

Even worse is they moved out over a month ago and just left her locked in a cage without food and water. Can you imagine being so cruel? Poor girl.

That’s terrible that she was just neglected like that. Good for you for taking her in everyone needs a chicken or ten in their life. XD

If you’re worried about her flying you can clip her wings but not knowing if you’ll be able to catch her again to get her in at night might be a problem a temporary run of some sort will make it easier as well as keep her protected from flying predators.
