Can anyone Identify my big Cockerel/Rooster Please..??????

Hi all from over in the UK...

I was given this cockerel/Rooster a few days ago as its original owner was having problems from his neighbours as he is LOUD.... He told me he was a Silver Wyndotte, and he is really gorgeous. He even came with his Mrs and she is laying everyday even though she is around 6 years old.

Now comes my question..... Another friend who cam round told me he is a Silver Pencil, not a Silver Wyndotte. I am now unsure and wondered can anyone identify him please. Not sure if it is the same in most countries but in the UK the Slver Pencil is on the endangered species list and are obviously rare. If this is the case I would rather him got to a specialist breeder who could maybe help increase the numbers. I dont want to just hang on to him for no reason, that would be criminal as the breed is so gorgeous....

I'm no expert on Wyandottes, but that roo looks like a Silver Laced Wyandotte to me. Your hen looks like a Dominique.

He's a silver laced wyandotte and his wife is a barred wyandotte. They are both gorgeous!
