Can anyone identify this animal track? I have not been able to figure out what it belongs to. It's

I can’t see it well enough. Have you tried looking through something like the stuff in this link?

Can you give a size? Maybe take a tape measure and give us a hint on how big pretty large is?

What part of the world do you live in? That could be another big clue.

It is 5 or 6 inches wide by about 7 inches long. I live in the east Texas area around Athens. I have not had any luck finding anything online that looks the same. It is in a real sandy soil so it might not have the detail that a more clay type soil would have.

I just looked up animals in Athens Texas and came across a study of a big foot type thing that loads of people have seen in your area, probably not helpful but just made me laugh lol, do you have large cats or dogs in the area?

I was actually going to set up a game camera that I have to see if i can get a glimpse of it, lol. I have only seen the prints one time and it seems to try to stay off the beaten path. There are rumors of mountain lions that escaped from a collection of animals from a private residence. I know there are bobcats and coyotes around too.

To me it looks like a padded paw print, so a large cat or dog type of animal would be a gud guess, if you ever get footage of big foot you need to send it to me lol

As I said, I can’t see them that well. Do you see any claw marks? A cat has retractable claws, so if you see claws marks, that is not a cat. The size you gave is too big for mountain lion anyway.

It’s also too big for a coyote. My guess is a really big dog.
