Can anyone shed any light on this please??

OK so here I am again!! Hahahaha lol
Anyways I take all those foods I just listed, some things may very as it mainly what I have on hand, and I mix and grind them all up into a mush. I put it in our chopper/grinder all together and it works fantastic?? Will turn everything to a mush!! Then I put it all in an ice tray, cover it and put in the freezer??!! It must be covered well to prevent freezer burn. So then I'll just pull a couple of them out as we go each day!! I will take a knife and just break it up a little so she can get started on it immediately!! This morning Į gave her two of those frozen cubes, some more chopped up apple and some frozen peas AND a small piece of frozen corn on on the cob!! That will keep her busy in awhile instead of standing on the window ledge crowing!! Lol
Now back to last night. Just before going to her roost I gave her a frozen cube, some freshly chopped salad greens, and some other peas, although her crop was full with water or some liquid?? She then cleaned her plate and went to her roost. This morning the amount of poop under her wasn't too bad, as she hadn't eaten anything really except what I gave her just before going up to roost. I took pics of what was in there and send them to you both now. Then I'll continue with more. I just don't want to lose all this I've written which seems to always happen to me!! Lol

BTW... I have no idea why the bedding looks white and shiny in a couple areas because it is not??!! It's all the same tan color bedding.

PSS: Those are the same poops.. They were taken in different angles is all!! That is ALL the poop she did the entire night??!!! However, again she was already very full with water in her crop and what I fed her, listed above, was in very small quantity!! I did not give her the usual amount because she had her crop so full of liquid already!!?? I couldn't believe she had even eaten all that I gave her??!!! I don't know where she put it??

I felt her crop about 8am though.. It was flat.. Just a small amount of perhaps feed and water in there maybe that she took in this morning. NOT what it was like last night at all. So it did go thru her and then the little food I gave her and that she cleaned the plate, that is the poop thats in these pictures. So this part for right now seems pretty normal to me. Oh however she did do another of the liquid poop with those little green things in it???? What can that be??? This is the second I've seen of these so far?? The rest are either green and formed or just green liquid like diarrhea from the heat and too much water.

So... anymore ideas why she's so skinny after being so HUGE and FAT as she had been?? You know in fact, I just remembered that the weight loss actually began way back during their first molt!!??? But she's never gained it back?? I'm just beside myself??

Gonna send you more pics of her and a current video or two so you can see really clear how she looks OK??

THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR TRYING TO HELP ME, FOR CARING AND UNDERSTANDING AND EVEN JUST FOR WRITING TO ME!!!! This being A FORUM, one would think you'd get answers and idea from many?? That's not the case apparently??
So THANK YOU BOTH VERY MUCH AGAIN!!!!

OOOOOOH BTW i almost forgot... these pictures are all big canvas portraits I had done of them!!!! They are 20x24, 16x20 and 11x14 in sizes!!!! They just arrived yesterday and I'm sooooooo pleased with how they turned out!! The phone here doesn't do them much justice though I have to say?? They are just gorgeous if I say so myself!! I'm putting them at the top of the stairs then along the long, open hallway that overlooks the entrance and foyer!!!! They are gone look so good there!!!! I'll have to make my hubby put them up this weekend no doubt!!!! Heeeeheeeeeee
Should you either be interested in doing something like this of your beloveds, check out Walmart online!! Believe it or not THEY are the ones who did these and they were very very reasonable too!!!!

PS: Walgreen's did the last one and though I just love it, you can see the colors are not as vivid and the canvas is a much poorer quality... AND they charged MORE!!!!

But it's got 3 of my babies in it and is hilarious to see how Daisy chases and keeps the dog and cat at bay!! She's something else to chase a dog or a cat don't you think?? Bad to the bone!! Lol
Bella my big... no HUGE kitty is the only one missing on here. She stays upstairs cause she's terrified of EVERYTHING??!! Don't know why?? We rescued her from the local Humane Society at only 8 weeks old!? I can't imagine what could have been done to her at that young age to have made her this way?? She's a huge chicken yet she weighs like 16lbs!!!! This is her below.

I am not a vet, nor am I an expert, LOL, I can only relate what I know from all my trials and tribulations over my years of keeping chickens.

BUT...looking at these poops and how many are there, I am going to say there is nothing wrong with her, at least at this point. My birds aren't eating a whole lot either, a few of them also go to roost with what seems like only water in their crops and just a few poops are left for me in the morning. These poops here from your girl look good, nice and dry, white caps.

As for her being thinner...there is no telling exactly why she is thinner. How much thinner is she? Are you weighing her weekly and is she still losing weight? I can tell you that probably all of my birds have lost some weight this summer because of the heat. Chickens lose their appetite, at least for chicken feed they do, LOL treats not so much! Ha!

As for the occasional funky green poop she is leaving you...all my birds will, out of nowhere, leave the worst looking poop I have ever seen. Never are they perfect all the time. This is not to say that something isn't going on inside your girl, but at this point, I would say she is fine and just let her be. She isn't showing any big symptoms to make any diagnosis. The best you can do is keep birds wormed, a clean mite free environment, on a good diet, fresh water at all times, exercise and fresh air and sunlight, all around good care and love and there isn't much else you can do until they do get sick. Some things can be treated with antibiotics or anti fungals, but things like cancers, internal laying, other organ failure...you can't do anything about. I would recommend adding some probiotics a couple of times a week to her water. Even the human grade is fine. Open a capsule, dump into a quart waterer, plastic only, and fill with water. Offer this up for 24 hours a couple times a week. This will not only help to boost her immune system, but help to ward of pathogens in the gut, which is where most of them take hold. It will also keep the E.coli and yeasts in balance that are in her intestinal tract. Too much green in the poop can be an overload of intestinal yeast.

I would weigh her once a week, keep track of it and see where it goes. Yes, if she started out as a 7 pound bird and is now down to 4.5, something is horribly wrong. But a half pound during the summer can be common when it is ripping hot outside and they lose their appetites.

Either way, keep us posted and thanks for all the pictures and videos!! She is adorable!! :)

I agree with TwoCrows.
I don't see anything worrisome at this time.
Adding the probiotics a few times a week and weighing her to see how much weight she may be losing are both good ideas.

She and Olivia were a great duo, I'm sure it may be a little hard on her without her buddy.

Daisy is lovely, walks with a nice upright tail, is a talker and has a nice bright comb and wattles (I do like the flop over-very cute). I can tell she is much loved and well taken care of, that is the greatest thing you can do for her

The pictures and videos were great.
Keep us posted on how she is doing.

THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP, IDEAS AND ALL YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF CHICKENS THAT YOU'VE SHARED WITH ME!!

You are right, all we really can do is take the best care possible of them and pray for the very best outcome. So that is what I will continue to do!!

About weighing her, I STILL don't have a scale that will work with her?? I think I'll order one as soon as I am done with this message, from Amazon... I buy just about EVERYTHING from them!! Having Prime as well I can even get it overnighted!!

NOW THIS COMMENT,RIGHT HERE ABOVE, WORRIES ME TO DEATH ACTUALLY!! Since I've NEVER weighed her.. period, now I don't know what she weighed at her biggest size?? SO I'll never know now actually HOW MUCH she's lost NOR in what period of time she's lost it?? All I can do at this point is to monitor whether or not she's still losing any weight or perhaps HOPEFULLY she's GAINING BACK HER WEIGHT!!??? That sort of sucks.. but it's all I have to go on??!!! So we'll see and I certainly WILL keep you both posted on how it all plays out!!!!

May I ask where both you kind ladies live?? As I've said already I'm in Florida, in a small area called Riverview which is about 30 to 40 minutes southeast of Tampa where I was born and raised.

Thank you again.. so very much!!
I've also REALLY enjoyed the chats, the teaching lessons and the putting together of all 3 of our heads!!!! Lol
I wish you both the very best in all you do!!
