can anyone tell me what my handsome Roo is?

Here is a front view of Romeo. The chickens in the picture are 4 month old pullets. They are close to the size of my older hens but not quite as filled out. This shows better his size and colors.

I'm not sure I like the 'supposed to be dubbed'. They are only dubbed for show purposes, I prefer to keep mine natural as do many other people. Dubbing is like cropping/docking in dogs...some prefer to leave animals in their natural state.
meaning the wattles, ear lobes, and comb havent been removed. on games birds they are supposed to be dubbed

I just read about being un-dubbed. I think I will leave my poor boy alone. I don't even know how old he is. The picture you sent says "un-dubbed" but his comb is small. My guy has a very large comb. Do you think he is an Oxford OEG?

i haven't dubbed mine yet but need to soon. breed standard calls for dubbing and i stick to standard as closely as i can with my birds just like i would with any other animal.

yours would be un-dubbed while the only pics i could find all have dubbed roosters. that's what he looks like to a tee to me but i cant find any pics for size comparisons. there is still a good chance that hes a mix

It's standard only if you show. Dubbing in no way changes the qualities otherwise in the chicken...as in other species. In dog showing, many are taking a stand and showing dogs naturally..docking/cropping does not change the dogs conformation just the way it is viewed. Sorry, I guess this is a pet peeve and I shouldn't take it out on you. I just don't like animals hurt for the sake of looks.

That's why when I picked a breed to show, I went with one that is shown natural.
