can anyone tell the diff from a polish hen to a rooster

HI everyone. The photos above are my sweet five week old polish. Does anyone have an opinion as to whether it is a pullet or cockerel? Thank you

Crest says Male to me but the lack of wattles says pullet. 5 weeks is still a tad early to tell for sure. Do you have a pic of the bird from a ride angle so we could see the tail please?

10 weeks old pullet or cockerel

Not as pink as in picture.but still pink. Pulled featheres back to see comb.

How old and do you have a pic of the bird stood up please so we can see it’s tail?

The wattles look like hen wattles (slightly smaller) but the crest is a little messy/untidy which can sometimes indicate Male.

Well, any rooster will have long, curving tail feathers, and saddle feathers. It'll be easy to tell by now. Polish roosters also have long, stringy crests. Hens have big puffy crests. Sounds like you have a hen- a rooster should be crowing by now. By loud- do you mean clucking, or crowing? If it's just clucking, you may get an egg soon.

It looks it to me. Spiky crest, wattles and the tail look to be a dead giveaway. How old?
