Treats? Like apple and banana? They are 3 weeks old today!!! YEAH! So when can they eat that good stuff? And can chicken eat corn tortilla?
Thanks,
Chicken Girl

My chickens LOVE Corn tortillas.

I'd say at three weeks you can start introducing them to treats, just make certain that they are small pieces.... you don 't want them choking or getting impacted crops.

ok cool! I gave them little apples at about 2 weeks and they were all like OMGOSH!!! What are you trying to do kill us i am not eating that! LOL They are in a box with mom in the coop. I can give you a pic if youd like!

Mine LOVE warm oatmeal. I made a 1/2 cup of luke warm cooked oatmeal out to my 12 hens and they went crazy over it. I have to feed it to them by the spoonful or they have it all over themselves. Its a nice warm filling supper before bed. I just heat a half of cup of water in the microwave and add the oats and stir. I let it cool for awhile before I take it out to them and just to be sure its not to hot i stick my finger in the middle to check. Its so fun to watch them go crazy over snacks. I also feed a little scratch of bird seed. They also love a piece of toast that i tear up into tiny pieces and toss to them, they grab a piece and go running off with it screaming their little heads off. I only feed a piece of toast once or twice a week. Its fun isnt it:) I started giving snacks at 2 weeks old and you cant ever stop!!
